CHOOSE YOUR PRICE

WITH CONFIDENCE

Finally Price Your Paintings With Ease

(Without spiraling, guessing, or changing your mind 20 Times)

A simple, repeatable method to choose prices you feel good about — and actually say them out loud without panicking.

Hey friend - if you want to feel calm and clear when someone asks the price of your work, so you can answer with confidence instead of panicking… this is the most important message you’ll read today.

Here’s why.

Like most artists, I didn’t always feel confident setting my prices.

Years ago, I used to do the Brewery Art Walk in Los Angeles — thousands of people walking into my studio, looking at my work, and leaning in to read the title cards. You know, where the prices are...

And every time someone looked at the card, my entire body tensed.

I’d start the mental spinning:

“Is that the right price?”

“Are they judging it?”

“Should I have made it lower?”

“Oh god, I hope they don’t ask.”

I wanted to sell my work.  And I also wanted to disappear the moment someone showed interest.

Technically I had priced my paintings… but I never trusted the numbers I chose.

Fast-forward to the day I had to price a major commission. I finally worked up the courage to say the number out loud.  It was $10,000. As soon as I said it,  the collector got quiet.

My stomach dropped. I thought I had made a horrible mistake. I was sure he would back out.

But then he said, “Antrese… are you sure you’re charging enough?”

That moment told me everything I needed to know:

The price wasn’t the problem. My fear around saying it was.

And that’s exactly what most artists run into.

The Real Problem Isn’t Math, It’s Everything That Happens in Your Mind

If you’re like most artists, you’ve probably tried to price your work before.

You made a list, checked other artists’ websites, maybe scribbled numbers in a notebook.

But when it came time to actually name the price to another human being?

Your body said nope.

Here’s what usually happens:

  • You pick a number, then change your mind 152 times
  • You worry you’ll “ruin your career” by choosing wrong
  • You second-guess yourself so intensely that you avoid the topic entirely
  • You procrastinate answering DMs for hours
  • You ask five friends what you should charge
  • You fixate on tiny differences — $500 vs. $525 vs. $550 — and spiral for days
  • You fear someone will “catch” you overcharging
  • You end up saying something lower than what you want, just to escape the moment

None of this means you’re bad at pricing. It means you’re human.

And it means no one has ever taught you a method you can actually trust.

You’ve just been trying to choose your price without a system that accounts for how artists actually think and feel.

If pricing makes you panic, there’s a reason for that.

This isn’t about math. It’s about identity, fear, money stories, and the pressure to “get it right” or ruin your career.

Most artists carry decades of mixed messages:

  • “Art shouldn’t be about money."
  • “If you charge too much, you’ll scare people off.”
  • “If you charge too little, it means you don’t value yourself.”
  • “Don’t out-price your audience.”
  • “Don’t under-price your peers.”
  • “Be affordable.”
  • “But also don’t be cheap.”

No wonder your brain short-circuits.

You’ve absorbed thousands of opinions — and almost none of them were designed to help you feel confident.

So of course you panic. Of course you freeze. Of course your stomach drops when someone asks.

That doesn’t mean you can’t do this. It just means no one has shown you how.

Why pricing becomes simple once you stop fighting yourself.

MOST ARTISTS THINK THE HARD PART IS CHOOSING THE NUMBER. IT ISN’T. Trusting Yourself Is.

Once you learn a method that:

  • gives you a clear, logical number
  • makes sense for your work
  • feels good in your body
  • is easy to repeat
  • and gives you a way to support yourself emotionally…

Pricing stops being stressful.

This is not about finding a “perfect” price. There is no perfect price.

It’s about choosing a number you can stand behind. Without anxiety, without justifying, and without talking yourself out of it.

Once you learn how to do this, you never have to agonize about pricing again.

This course teaches you exactly how to get there. And once you learn it, you can use it forever.

  • Feel comfortable saying what you do
  • Handle dismissive comments without getting defensive
  • Redirect awkward questions without shutting people down
  • Gently handle family who don't "get it"
  • Navigate social situations where someone's clearly being rude

What Artists Say After Working With Me on Pricing

Beverly: “I used to freeze when someone asked for a price. Now it comes out of my mouth easily. I finally feel relaxed about it.”

Leslie: “I never want to feel resentful about a price again. Now I know exactly how to choose the number that feels right.”

Teresa: “A collector bought two portraits because they meant something to her. It wasn’t about the price at all.”

Braighlee: “A buyer saved for my painting for a year. People come back when your work matters to them.”

These are artists I’ve personally coached through this work — and you’re about to learn the same framework.

You don't need to stay stuck another minute

Because every day you delay, you lose opportunities.

You stay stuck. You avoid conversations. You delay posting your work. You hide from collectors instead of stepping towards them.

You deserve ease. You deserve clarity. You deserve to feel proud of your prices.

And this is how you get there.

You can feel calm about your prices. Starting today.

Two options from here - one gets you unSTUCK.

You can keep:

  • overthinking

  • spinning

  • changing your mind

  • procrastinating answering messages

  • doubting your worth

  • stressing about $25 differences

  • avoiding conversations because pricing feels terrifying

…or you can spend a couple of hours and solve this for good with a system you can trust.

Your future self will thank you for choosing clarity.

A few things you might be wondering:

“I’ve never sold a painting.”

This is the perfect time to learn your pricing — before the pressure hits.

“My work is all different sizes.”

Good. The spreadsheet handles that in seconds.

“I don’t feel ready.”

That’s exactly why you’re here. This course gets you ready.

“What if I mess it up?”

You’re not performing heart surgery. You’re choosing a number for art you made. This course keeps it simple and human.

You’re more capable at this than you think. ❤️

P.S. You know that voice in your head saying "I'll do this later when I'm ready"? That voice is the exact reason you need this. There is no "ready." There's only practice. Start today
