At the same time, we work on strategy. Tactical, real-world, non-sleazy marketing strategy that helps you sell your work in a way that feels aligned with who you are. I bring years of experience here — not just as an artist, but from my background collaborating with marketing teams at Disney, and coaching e-commerce business owners (some running multi-million dollar companies). Selling art is different. But honestly? Not that different. The core principles still apply — and I’ll show you how to make them work for your art, your voice, your values.

Coaching happens weekly on live Zoom calls.  It’s not hot-seat pressure or performative advice-giving. It’s thoughtful, spacious, and real. You bring what you’re working on — a stuck spot, a decision you’re circling, a visibility struggle, whatever’s up — and we talk it through together.

Sometimes that means helping you map out next steps. Sometimes it means untangling a limiting belief you didn’t even realize was coloring your practice. And sometimes it just means saying the scary thing out loud and being witnessed by a group of artists who totally get it.

You don’t have to come with perfect questions or polished plans. You just have to show up as you are. Even if you’re not the one being coached, listening in is often just as powerful — it’s wild how many people say, “That wasn’t my question, but it was exactly what I needed to hear.”

And if you ever miss a call, you can always catch the replay. Many artists just listen to the private podcast or watch the recordings, and it changes them completely. They choose not to participate live, and that's totally fine. But being there live - that’s where the magic really happens.

Absolutely. First, let me say this: these critiques are not the “tear it down to build it up” kind. No one’s here to play tortured art school professor. My goal is to help you see your work more clearly, trust what’s working, and feel grounded in where you want to take it next.

The critiques happen live on our calls, and I lead them personally. You bring a piece — finished or in progress — and I offer thoughtful, honest feedback based on your goals and creative direction. This isn’t a group free-for-all. It’s a focused, supportive space for you to get experienced eyes on your work, without noise or ego.

We talk about what’s strong, what could be more intentional, and how your work is being received — always in service of your voice, not some outside standard of “good.”

If you’re craving peer conversation, that happens inside our private community space — not on the calls. But the critiques themselves are a dedicated moment for you to go deeper into your practice, with clear, grounded support from me.

Eventually I may tweak how the online part works. But for now, the heart of the community is what happens live — in real time, face to face, week after week.

Great question! Calls are Monday at 1PM Eastern and Wednesday at 5PM Eastern.

All calls are recorded and uploaded to our private site within 24 hours. You can also listen via our private podcast feed—so you’ll never miss a thing, even if you can’t make it live.

I alternate coaching and critique calls so that whether you can only attend Mondays or only Wednesdays, you’ll still have access to both types of support.

Here’s what that looks like:

• Week 1: Monday = Coaching ; Wednesday = Critique
• Week 2: Monday = Critique ; Wednesday = Coaching
• Week 3: Monday = Coaching ; Wednesday = Critique

That said, these calls are here to support you—not to pressure you. Many artists never attend live but still get a ton of value from the recordings and private podcast. You get to engage in the way that works best for you.

I also host a bonus call on Fridays at 5:30PM Eastern—it’s a casual art chat where artists unmute and hang out. Sometimes we discuss a topic or artist, and occasionally I paint live while we talk.
