You want to grow as an artist — and sell your work without selling your soul.

But right now, it feels like you're spinning. Invisible. Stuck but not sure how to move forward.

Growth Studio is where that changes.

It’s not a course. It’s not a content dump. It’s live coaching, honest critique, and the kind of community that helps you stay in it — even when it feels hard.

Show up scared. Show up unsure. We take it one step at a time — until you’re ready to leap.

You paint, then hide your work. You're done with that.

Growth Studio is where artists learn to trust their voice, finish what they start, and finally show their work—even when doubt says they're not ready.

  • Weekly live coaching that addresses what's actually keeping you stuck
  • Honest critiques that makes your work and your voice stronger, not just different
  • A community of artists who understand why showing up feels so hard
  • WHAT CHANGES WHEN YOU FINALLY TRUST YOURSELF

You finish paintings instead of abandoning them. You show your work without apologizing for it first. You trust your own eye instead of asking everyone's opinion.

The doubt doesn't disappear—you just stop giving it veto power.

And when you're ready to sell? You'll know how to do it without feeling like you're selling out.

    What's Actually Inside Growth Studio

Weekly Group Coaching Calls Bring your real questions. We work through what’s actually keeping you stuck — together.

Bring the thing you're actually stuck on: the painting you can't finish, the gallery email you're too scared to send, the voice that says you're not ready.

We work through it live. Not vague advice. Not cheerleading. Real coaching that addresses what's in your way—the doubt, the fear, the stories you tell yourself.

Even when you're not in the hot seat, you'll hear your own struggle in someone else's question. That's when the real change happens.

Weekly Critiques  Honest feedback based on your goals, not someone else's vision

I lead every critique. This isn't crowd-sourced advice where ten different voices tell you ten different things.

You'll get clear, specific feedback based on where you're trying to go—not where I think you should go or what someone else would do with your work.

You'll see what's working, what's not, and why. You'll leave knowing exactly what to do next.

A COMMUNITY THAT FEELS LIKE A SMALL TOWN  THESE AREN'T STRANGERS ON A FORUM. THESE ARE ARTISTS WHO KNOW YOU, SUPPORT YOU, AND NOTICE WHEN YOU'RE NOT AROUND.

The real connections happen on the live calls. Over time, it starts to feel like a small town in the best way.

People know you. They remember what you're working on. They notice when you're gone. They cheer when you finally finish that painting or send that email.

Supportive without being cliquey. Kind without being precious. Real.

There's a private space online to share work-in-progress or celebrate wins, but the real community? That's built live, week after week

STRATEGIC COACHING TO GET YOU SELLING  LEARN HOW TO SHARE AND SELL YOUR WORK IN A WAY THAT ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE YOU

We'll work on both sides of selling: the internal blocks (the fear, the resistance, the "am I selling out?" worry) and the external strategy (how to actually get your work in front of people who want to buy it).

You'll learn how to talk about your art without sounding like a used car salesman. How to show up online in a way that feels human. How to build a path to sales that works for where you are right now—whether you're just barely starting to think about selling or already making sales and ready to grow.

This isn't random marketing advice. I spent years coaching e-commerce businesses doing millions in revenue and working with Disney's marketing teams. I know what actually works. And I'll show you how to apply it to your art practice—in a way that feels like you.

    Why do artists JOIN?

Artists join at different points. But there's usually a moment when they're done with something—done hiding, done overthinking, done waiting for permission.

They're ready to stop letting fear make the decisions.

Here's what that turning point sounded like for three of them:

Louisa joined because she was tired of being alone with her art. She wanted real connection—not a feed to scroll, but people who actually show up.

    Louisa: Community with other artists.

Leslie joined after a show that should have felt like a win—but didn't. She'd raised her prices, believed in her work, but still left feeling stuck and frustrated. She'd been circling the program for years. Finally she said: 'Why haven't I joined yet?

Leslie: “I was stuck after a show.”

Steve joined at a major turning point. After decades in another career, he was finally ready to take his art seriously. He needed structure and momentum to actually step into it—not just think about it.

Steve: Make progress with new career.

IS GROWTH STUDIO RIGHT FOR YOU?

Yes—if you're done hiding your work and ready to stop letting doubt run your practice.

Growth Studio is for painters who:

    • Have the skill but struggle with the internal blocks—the doubt, the fear, the voice that says you're not ready
    • Are tired of doing this alone—you need people who actually understand why this matters
    • Want honest feedback that makes your work and voice stronger, not just different
    • Are scared to show your work but done hiding it—you're ready to stop letting fear make the decisions
    • Are in this for the long haul—even if the next step feels messy or unclear

You can come in feeling lost. Unsure. Scared. I meet you exactly where you are.

You don't need to be fearless. You just need to be willing.

What matters isn't that you have it all figured out. It's that you keep showing up—especially when it's hard.

"But what if I'm behind everyone else?"

Here's the thing: we have artists showing in galleries and making serious sales. We also have artists who haven't shown their work publicly yet. Most are somewhere in the middle.

What matters isn't where you're starting. It's that you're serious about growing.

You won't be the "least advanced" person here. And you won't be stuck with casual hobbyists. You'll be with committed artists who are doing the real work—wherever they are in the journey.

The skill levels vary. The commitment doesn't.

Because over time, here's what happens:

You start treating yourself like someone worth showing up for.

And your art gets braver—because you do.

What It Looks Like When You Start Trusting Your Work

These are all Growth Studio artists. Some joined feeling lost. Some had never shown their work publicly. Some were already selling but felt stuck.

What they share isn't the same starting point. It's the same commitment: stop hiding, start trusting, keep growing.

What happens when you FINALLY feel supported?

From hesitant to bold in the studio

You don't have to be fearless to make brave work. You just need a space that invites it.

In Growth Studio, artists stop playing it safe. They experiment. Take risks. Make work that feels like theirs—not what they think they're supposed to make.

Beverly joined so anxious she was afraid to unmute on coaching calls. She could barely talk about her work. Watch what happened when she finally let herself take risks.

    Mindset Isn’t woo — It’s your foundation

You can have all the skill in the world and still talk yourself out of making the work you're capable of.

The problem isn't technique. It's the thinking that keeps you stuck.

Self-doubt. Perfectionism. The voice that says you're not ready yet. We address what's actually in the way—not just what's on the canvas.

Leslie had raised her prices and believed in her work. But after a show that should have felt like a win, she still felt stuck. Here's what changed when she finally addressed the real blocks.

    Community That Actually Shows Up

This isn't a feed you scroll past or a forum where you're just a username.

These are artists who know your name. Who remember you're working on that abstracted landscape series. Who notice when you disappear for a few weeks.

When someone finally finishes the painting they've been stuck on for months? When someone sends the gallery email they've been too scared to send? We celebrate like it's our own win.

Braighlee came for connection. What she found changed how she shows up—not just in Growth Studio, but in her entire art practice.

Inside the Studio, This Is What It Sounds Like

I'm feeling so grateful for this community. Thanks, Antrese for creating this place where we can share and learn from you and each other. Even when roadblocks or hurdles are difficult to articulate, you  always find a way to bring clarity. For an artist it is a safe place to be and to grow. I just wanted to say thank you :)

Antrese, I have never been so excited about my work! You provide such a wealth of resources and spot on coaching. I feel like my growth is limited only by the amount of effort I choose to apply to my work. And you present that effort as something exciting and FUN. I cannot wait to see where my skillset can go!!

    Money’s Real. So Is This.

Let's talk about money. Because it's real.

Investing in coaching isn't cheap. These artists wrestled with the decision too.

Here's why they're glad they said yes.

"It will be the best investment you make in yourself as an artist."

"What you gain is so much more than the cost. It's such a value."

"Try it! I really think you are going to love it - and be surprised at how much you're going to  love it."

"Growth Studio is a source of constant reinforcement, knowledge, kindness and support. I love it."

    About  Antrese

    Hey — I'm Antrese, and I'm glad you're here.

I'm an artist, a master-certified coach, and the host of the Savvy Painter podcast (over 4 million downloads). I've spent the last decade helping artists work through the doubt, perfectionism, and internal blocks that keep them from making their best work.

Here's what qualifies me to do this:

Before Growth Studio, I spent over a decade as an art director at Disney, leading creative teams and learning how to give feedback that actually makes work better—not just different.

I'm a master-certified life and business coach, certified in coaching the unconscious mind, and a certified hypnotist. This isn't surface-level mindset work. I can help you get to the root of what's actually in the way.

And the selling side? I spent years coaching e-commerce business owners doing millions in revenue. When we talk about pricing, visibility, or getting your work into the right hands, we're not guessing. I know what works—and I'll show you how to apply it in a way that feels like you.

Growth Studio is where it all comes together: honest critique, real coaching, and the strategic support artists actually need to grow.

I've worked with artists at every stage—from people who've never shown their work to artists showing in galleries and making serious sales.

I'd love to work with you too.

WHAT'S ANTRESE ACTUALLY LIKE AS A COACH?

Antrese is always very efficient with what she says. She keeps the group running and stays focused. I love that. I love that she redirects if whoever's talking gets off course or tries to go around the answer. But she's kind, she keeps it running, and she's great at time management because we all have a lot to say - and it's fun!

    ~ Leslie

Antrese definitely challenges me. She has some of the answers, but she teases them out of me, and it probably works much better that way for me to come up with the answers myself than for anybody just to give them to me and write them down. And Antrese is extremely generous, so it is a pleasure to work with her.

    ~ Michele

"I enjoy being pushed, but (Antrese is) good at not pushing when somebody doesn't want to be pushed. I've noticed that (Antrese doesn't) push all of us the same way. (She's) good at reading the person and and seeing how tough to be, and how gentle to be."

    ~ Jack

It elevates everything about the experience of painting

(Antrese) really talks a lot about falling in love with your painting. I have that now as a criteria of a successful painting experience:  am I in love with my painting and am I deeply curious about my painting? And that has just helped me refine and crystallize that very important mindset. It brings joy to my work. It gets me excited.

    ~ Louisa

"It wasn’t just tools for focus — it was an honest look at what I want, what I can do, and what’s actually getting in the way."

" (Antrese) always brought it back to: What’s true for you? What do you want to do? And how do you make space for that?"

    ~ Janice

"Within a few months of Antrese’s course on getting into a gallery, I not only got into one, but had a successful solo show.

She helped me break that self-imposed limited thinking and move along a more productive path. Not everyone’s going to have the same result, but everyone will take away something liberating. She’s really good at re-directing your thinking.

    ~ Rhonda

"Antrese brought a unique level of insight and genuine caring to each participant, which I so much appreciated. She made everyone feel comfortable and supported, like a dear friend, but also knew when to break out some tough love, like a compassionate mentor that really cares about your evolution.”

    ~ Laura

“Antrese is so down to earth. It's like having a good friend to talk to. I mean, she's an artist, so of course, she understands. She's bringing up the right questions.

When you talk outside the group, people don't get it because "you're so lucky you're an artist!" And we are! Yet, there's still all these challenges. I'm very thankful that she put the program together. She's very organized and to the point.

    ~ Kathleen

    WHAT IS GROWTH STUDIO

Growth Studio is part strategy, part sanctuary. It's where we take your creative work seriously and treat your growth like art, too.

This is for artists who want to make their work more visible and sustainable—without selling out, burning out, or losing themselves in the process.

We work on the practical stuff: clarity, structure, marketing that doesn't make you cringe. And we work on the human stuff: self-doubt, resistance, the "what am I even doing?" moments.

But one of the most unexpectedly powerful parts? The community.

The artists who show up to the weekly calls don't just attend—they show up for each other. Over time, people genuinely get to know one another. They care. They listen. You say something you've been quietly struggling with, and suddenly half the Zoom room is nodding. That kind of validation doesn't always happen in your day-to-day life. But it happens here.

If you've felt alone in the creative grind or unsure how to keep going, Growth Studio gives you tools, direction, and a group of artists who actually get it.

    Who joins Growth Studio?

Mostly painters—oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, mixed media like collage. You'll find figurative artists, landscape painters, still life, abstract, and abstracted realism. Some have gallery representation. Some are self-taught. Some are coming back to their practice after time away.

The range of experience is wide, but what everyone shares is a deep commitment to their work. They're not dabbling. They're serious about growing—not just in skill, but in voice, visibility, and creative integrity.

So if you're a painter who wants to keep evolving in your practice, and you're craving support that's both practical and deeply human, you'll fit right in.

Will this help me sell my work?

Yes—if selling your work is part of what you want, we'll absolutely go there.

This isn't a "how to sell your art on Instagram in 30 days" program. What we do is more personal and more effective long-term. We look at the real reasons selling has felt hard: visibility fears, inconsistent momentum, not knowing how to talk about your work without feeling gross, and we address those from the inside out.

At the same time, we work on strategy. Tactical, real-world, non-sleazy marketing that helps you sell your work in a way that feels aligned with who you are. I bring years of experience here, not just as an artist, but from my background working with Disney's marketing teams and coaching e-commerce business owners (some doing millions in revenue). Selling art is different. But honestly? Not that different. The core principles still apply. And I'll show you how to make them work for your art, your voice, your values.

So yes, artists in Growth Studio often do start selling more. Not because they're following some paint-by-numbers system, they figured out how to do it in a way that actually feels authentic and doesn't have them lunging for a barf bag.

    HOW DOES THE COACHING WORK?

Coaching happens weekly on live Zoom calls. It's not hot-seat pressure or performative advice-giving. It's thoughtful, spacious, and real. You bring what you're working on: a stuck spot, a decision you're circling, a visibility struggle, whatever's up, and we talk it through together.

Sometimes that means helping you map out next steps. Sometimes it means untangling a limiting belief you didn't even realize was coloring your practice. And sometimes it just means saying the scary thing out loud and being witnessed by a group of artists who totally get it.

You don't have to come with perfect questions or polished plans. You just have to show up as you are. Even if you're not the one being coached, listening in is often just as powerful—it's wild how many people say, "That wasn't my question, but it was exactly what I needed to hear."

And if you miss a call, you can always catch the replay. Many artists just listen to the recordings, and it changes them completely. They choose not to participate live, and that's totally fine. But being there live? That's where the real connection happens.

    HOW DO THE CRITIQUES WORK?

First, let me say this: these critiques are not the “tear it down to build it up” kind. No one’s here to play tortured art school professor. My goal is to help you see your work more clearly, trust what’s working, and feel grounded in where you want to take it next.

The critiques happen live on our calls, and I lead them personally. You bring a piece — finished or in progress — and I offer thoughtful, honest feedback based on your goals and creative direction. This isn’t a group free-for-all. It’s a focused, supportive space for you to get experienced eyes on your work, without noise or ego.

We talk about what’s strong, what could be more intentional, and how your work is being received — always in service of your voice, not some outside standard of “good.”

If you’re craving peer conversation, that happens inside our private community space — not on the calls. But the critiques themselves are a dedicated moment for you to go deeper into your practice, with clear, grounded support from me.

Artists often leave feeling energized, affirmed, and more connected to what they’re making. That’s exactly what I want for you.

ARE THE COACHING AND CRITIQUE SESSIONS RECORDED?

You bet! Every call is recorded and uploaded so you can watch (or rewatch) whenever it works for you.

Whether you miss a session or just want to revisit a piece of feedback, you'll have access to the full library while you're in the program. And honestly, a lot of artists tell me they get just as much out of watching other people's sessions as they do from their own. There's something powerful about hearing someone else work through a creative block or share their doubts and realizing, oh wow, I'm not the only one.

So yes, the replays are there for you. No pressure to make every call live—though the real connection happens when you show up.

WHAT IF I'm just starting out?

That's totally okay. You don't need a fancy resume or gallery representation to belong here. What matters more is that you're serious about your growth—not in a hustly way, but in that deep, personal way where you know this matters to you and you want to keep going.

Some artists in Growth Studio have been at it for years. Others are just now returning to their work after a long break. What they all have in common is a desire to make their art feel more aligned, more visible, and more connected to who they are now.

If you're unsure whether you're "ready," here's what I'll say: if you're open, curious, and willing to show up for yourself and your creative practice—even imperfectly—then yes, you're ready.

HOW LONG IS THE PROGRAM, AND IS IT SELF-PACED?

There's no set timeline. Some artists come in, get what they need in 3–6 months, and move into their next chapter with more clarity and momentum. Others stay for years—not because they're stuck, but because they're committed. They know that growth as an artist isn't something you "graduate" from. It evolves as you evolve.

In fact, some of the artists who've been here the longest are the most dedicated, engaged, and curious. They stay because the work keeps meeting them where they are—at new levels of visibility, voice, and self-trust. And they're still growing. Hard.

Growth Studio gives you weekly live calls for coaching, critique, and conversation—not self-paced modules, but real-time support. And while the rhythm is steady, the pace is yours. There's no pressure to "keep up," and no shame in staying longer than you expected. This is a space you can keep growing inside of—as long as it's serving you.

CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP ANY TIME?

Yes—you have full control over your membership. If you ever need to cancel, you can do it yourself or just email support and I'll take care of it. No weird hoops, no guilt trip.

Life shifts. Creative focus changes. I fully respect that. You get to decide what's right for you, and when.

     IS THERE A COMMUNITY?

Yes—and it mostly happens on the calls.

We meet live multiple times a week, and that's where the strongest connections form. Over time, artists really get to know each other. They share openly, cheer each other on, and offer the kind of grounded support that's hard to come by in most creative spaces. It's not performative or "networky"—it's real, generous, and rooted in shared experience.

There is an online space where you can post wins, works in progress, or follow up between calls—but I'll be honest, that part's quieter. Most artists in the program are already juggling a lot, and the calls tend to meet their needs for connection. So if you're not looking for another platform to keep up with, you're in good company.

Eventually I may tweak how the online part works. But for now, the heart of the community is what happens live—in real time, face to face, week after week.

    What Time are the Calls?

Calls are Monday at 1PM Eastern and Wednesday at 5PM Eastern.

All calls are recorded and uploaded to our private site within 24 hours. You can also listen via our private podcast feed—so you'll never miss a thing, even if you can't make it live.

I alternate coaching and critique calls so that whether you can only attend Mondays or only Wednesdays, you'll still have access to both types of support.

    Here's what that looks like:

    • Week 1: Monday = Coaching ; Wednesday = Critique
    • Week 2: Monday = Critique ; Wednesday = Coaching
    • Week 3: Monday = Coaching ; Wednesday = Critique

    You get the idea, right?

That said, these calls are here to support you—not to pressure you. Many artists never attend live but still get a ton of value from the recordings and private podcast. You get to engage in the way that works best for you.

Bonus: I also host a casual art chat on Fridays at 5:30PM Eastern—it's where artists unmute and hang out. Sometimes we discuss a topic or artist, and occasionally I paint live while we talk.

Do I get 1:1 time with you?

Not in this space—Growth Studio is designed as a group coaching program. That means we do everything live, together, and you'll absolutely get coached by me on calls. But there's no private 1:1 time built into this container.

That said, if you're looking for deeper support or want to work with me one-on-one, there's a separate way to do that. Just reach out and we'll send you the info.

Does Growth Studio include all of Antrese's courses?

No. Growth Studio is a focused membership program designed specifically for artists building sustainable creative practices and overcoming mindset blocks.

    Your Growth Studio membership includes:

    • Multiple live group coaching sessions every week
    • Complete access to all Growth Studio curriculum and modules
    • Private community access
    • Ongoing implementation support

My other courses  are standalone offerings that serve different purposes and remain separate purchases.

Growth Studio is already exceptionally comprehensive in its scope and is priced to reflect the intensive live support and complete curriculum included. This structure keeps the membership accessible while allowing me to create additional specialized resources for specific challenges outside of Growth Studio's focus.

What if I miss a few weeks?

Life happens—and it's totally okay if you need to step back for a bit. There's no punishment, no judgment, no getting "behind." All the coaching and critique calls are recorded, so you can catch up when you're ready.

That said, your membership doesn't pause. If you take time away, you're still billed. This isn't a start-stop-start-stop kind of program. The calls keep happening, the replays keep adding up, and the community keeps moving forward—whether you're there live or not.

Most artists in Growth Studio don't disappear for long. They're invested. Not just in their own growth, but in each other. Even when someone needs a breather, they usually stay plugged in through replays or pop back in feeling re-anchored. The momentum here is real—and most people don't want to miss it.

There's no pause button, but there is a strong current. And when you're ready to jump back in, it's always here.

How can I join Growth Studio?

When you’re ready, just hit the Join Now button. You'll go through a simple sign-up process, and once you're in, you'll get immediate access to everything—the live calls, critique sessions, replays, and community.

From there, you can start showing up in whatever way works for you. Some people dive right in, others take a week or two to settle and feel things out. There's no one right way to begin.

And if you have questions before joining, or want to make sure it's a good fit, just reach out. I'm happy to talk it through with you.

    Still scrolling? That’s your sign.

Doubt is normal—it comes with the territory.

You don't have to be 100% certain. You just have to be willing.

And if you've read this far, I'd say you're willing.

Say yes to your art. Let's do this.
