Yes! Savvy Painter is back – Ep 305

What’s next with Savvy Painter?

After a much needed (and longer than expected) break, Savvy Painter is back!

I’m thrilled to reconnect with you and continue the conversation with our artist community. In this episode, I share what I experienced during this pause.  I reflect on the importance of mental health and trusting your intuition. I explore self-imposed deadlines and the realization that growth often comes from stepping back rather than pushing through.

I have so much gratitude for the unwavering support of the podcast community.  I am continually in awe of the interconnectedness of artists and the power of collective encouragement.

Moving forward, the podcast will return to a weekly schedule, with upcoming episodes featuring Q&A sessions, discussions on creative thinking, and occasional interviews. To submit questions for the Q&A episodes, email me at podcast@savvypainter.com

Thank you for being a part of the Savvy Painter community—I’m excited for this next chapter together!

Talk soon!

  • I’m so excited to hear you again!! And I’m proud of you for having your own back (and reminding us that we might always be learning to do that-over and over again.)

  • Sweet surprise in my podcast feed last week! Glad you’re back and looking forward to your insights on creativity in upcoming episodes.

    • Thank you so much Patty! It feels really good to be making podcasts again – if you have a question or something you want me to expand on for the Q&A episodes, I’d love to hear it! ❤️

  • I am so glad “you’re back”!!! I suspect I’ve listened to you for the last 5 years.
I’ve painted for 30 yesrs. I don’t sell. I give to family, donate them for auctions and give mostly to non-profits that help house and counsel women in recovery.
Your podcasts are messages and metaphors for living this Mysterious human experience ….but I know you know this! Thank you Antrese. I wish you the best personally and professionally. Soooooo glad I can look forward to the joy of your Thursday podcasts !!!! You help me grow!
    Joe

    • That is so beautiful, Joe! I love it and I’m honored to be a small part of your journey! Much gratitude 🙏

  • Welcome back! So happy to listen to your return episode this morning. Your podcast was instrumental in my own return to painting after a break of 20 years. I discovered your podcast while caring for my elderly mother and immediately found encouragement and peace. Thank you so much for all you bring to the art community – the encouragement, the joy, the struggles etc.

    • Thanks so much, Heather, I appreciate you! I’m glad you’re back to your painting ❤️

  • Hi Antrese,
Long time listener here, and am both grateful that you took time, and have returned. After some really disappointing career news, and losing a small art community, it is really serendipitous that you’ve returned. I’m taking a small break in my practice to clean my home and studio, and to start reading again to calm and energize my mind before returning. Hearing that your break was not only okay, but necessary is validating. I hope you are well, and thought I would share that I created one of the best portraits I’ve ever made due to your online workshop with Ricky Mujica some time back. So yes- your podcast and your opportunities absolutely have a positive impact. Thank you.

    • Oh wow, that’s amazing – I would love to see the portrait!
Im so glad to be back – thanks so much for being part of this community 😊
